Lexx: We’ve had some FAB gigs in the UK recently at big places like Proud Camden, 100 Club and the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms which has been amazing.  I get really turned on by performing our live show in front of large audiences to fall victim to our love-filled music and dirty Club Le Shark ways!

Sam:  And my solos!

Lexx: It’s the best feeling to get off stage, pumped with adrenaline racing through your veins.  To look back at the audience who have been wildly entertained, admiring their dropped jaws or wild grins across their faces.

Dee:  Then we rush into the audience selling CD’s and merch, not giving them a chance to breathe!

Lexx: Yea we do.  Shameless self promotion is what we’re all about!  Begging for them to buy our stuff like gypsies desperately selling flowers.

You had a three week tour of the US, how did that go?

Sam: Don’t remember it!

Gash: How didn’t it go??

Lexx: Yea, it was wild.  Lots of morbidly obese people in the south.  Although I find most are very badly educated, they generally have hearts of gold.  Unlike us generally well educated posh English boys, besides Sam who was kicked out of school at 15 for doing things like causing massive life-threatening explosions by filling the school’s massive bonfire Guy Fawkes with deodorant cans and twisting pigeon-chested kids’s nipples off.

Sam:  The sunset strip is hot.  I had a date with a myspace porn star over there but I never showed up.

Have you got any more imminent UK Tour plans?

Sam: It’s a thought innit?

Charlotte (The Band’s Agent):  We are planning to sort out a tour in late August/early September.  We don’t want to disclose too much info though until it’s all booked!

Lexx: Indeed, it’s more exciting that way.

What’s a typical Club Le Shark gig like?

Sam: Insane.

Dee: Yea it’s a life changing experience.

Lexx:  A rock’n’roll extravaganza, celebrating everything wonderful in this world.

Sam: Yea it’s brutal.

What’s going on for Club Le Shark in 2009?

Sam: Splitting up, I hate everyone.

Lexx: haha, yea.

Dee: No, but really we are planning to promote our EP as much as possible.

Lexx: Yea, sending it out to literally thousands of people and promoting the name CLUB LE SHARK as much as possible.  To every promoter, radiostation and label.

Dee: Music like ours is quite underground at the moment.

Lexx: So we’re gonna be playing live quite a lot, exposing people to our band and this kind of music. 

Sam: Bands like Hardcore Superstar are paving the way in the mainstream for bands like us which is awesome. 

Lexx: I believe it’s only a matter of time before the masses flock to see our variety of stage show as it’s the polar opposite to ‘artistic shoe-gazing’.  Its raunchy, wild and we PERFORM as well as make lovely music.  A great performance can add so much depth and dynamics to a band.  You get a chance to see all our personalities shine.
