Lexx: Yea Sam’s a muscle freak you should see him in real life or check our myspace.  I forget which steroids he’s on now.  Personally, I like to suggestively show as much chest hair as possible and model myself on a sex maniac.  I think key words for our image in this band are ‘sexual terrorism’.

Dee: I enjoy offending people by writing swear words all over my clothes.

Gash: For me, Rik Waller meets Marylin Monroe.

You have built up a very loyal following ‘ The Sharkettes’.  Tell us about them.

Sam: They’re a wild, sexual collective of people.

Lexx: Yes very devoted, they’ve been ordering shirts and CD to over 10 countries and counting so they are spreading like an irresistibly itchy rash upon this earth.  We all attract different types of ‘sharkette’.  Dee attracts the freaky goth/glam girls, Gash often gets the classier girls or the crack heads.

Gash:  Yea I get the rich girls.

Lexx: I get the insecure ones who like the thought of being with a frontman.  Sam attracts the older generation, the types who fancy Bruce Springsteen.  The 40 + year olds.

Sam: THE DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES!

Gash: haha, yea I remember!

Lexx: And he’s got a fetish for the black ones. 

What Are You Listening to?

Sam:  The newer scene of hard rock bands such as Burn Halo and Hardcore Superstar

Lexx:  At the moment I’m listening to more songwriting stuff like Bowie and the Smashing Pumpkins, as well as the usual attitude-ridden stuff like Nashville Pussy and Iggy Pop and the Stooges.

Gash: ive been listening to dire straits, slash's snakepit and the new metallica

Dee: horror-punk/glam/sleaze scene really. Bands like Vains of Jenna, Crashdiet, Murderdolls, Backyard Babies and obviously all the old classics like Hanoi Rocks, Motley Crue and Kiss
