Is it a difficult place to play because of that?
Nikki: As I say, great if you are an Indie band, but even then it can be tough to pull in a crowd. Spoilt for choice! I seem to have more success in London!
What’s your ultimate musical ambition?
Nikki: To have people relate to my music, enjoy it and get my music out there. I don't just want one hit - I want a long run at it; I also want to be able to show people that it is possible to make all you wish come true. I love music, writing and performing. The whole buzz. Even the frustrations - and there are plenty when you are starting out. Like the last trip to London for a half-hour set that ended-up being just one song!!! Urgh! You also meet such great people (mainly). I just love the whole scene!
