Where does it all come from?

Jackpot Jim: Alex usually has an idea, we all throw our tupence into the hat and pull out a white rabbit!

What’s your dream collaboration?

Jackpot Jim: The evil Jackpot Golden Boys from a parrallel universe.  But in the real world Alex has just done a colab with Alec Splatt under the name Cactus Tongue.  It sounds awesome!

You’ve just gone through the whole Orange Unsigned Act experience, how did you find it?

Jackpot Jim:  Yea it was a good experinece we got through over thousands of other which is cool in its self,  and it was acosutic auditions so not our normal bag.  We auditioned for Jo Wiley but she wasn’t a fan of our gold outfits.. shame on her!

Is there anything you would have done differently if you were to enter it again?

Jackpot Jim: Not really, maybe play naked...?  After watching a few of the shows it came clear thay didnt really have a clue anyway so probably for the best.

You’re currently recording new material, what can we expect from the Jackpots this time?

Jackpot Jim:  Expect some oldscool Jackpot classics like 'new toy', more recent classics like 'Shake' and some brand new material like 'Comic' and 'Holdback'.  We’re all pants full of excitement and will keep folk up to date with its release and gigs on our mailing list on our website.  Should have a new video sometime soon and we'll be looking for people to appear in it with us so get in touch!
