FELUKA

Oystar bring a bagful of influences into the mix to create tunes with massive hooks and great storytelling lyrical content. ‘With us or Against Us’ displays their craft to maximum effect, laid back yet so memorable that you will be humming it for days. CASTAWAY
Glasgow band Castaway bring six fantastic tracks packed with strong hooks and a laid back rock edged sound. ‘Smack’ is an up-tempo anthem designed to get you dancing. ‘Be Sure’ exposes their softer side wonderfully while the song ‘Masquerade’ showcases their melodic electronic leanings. Their dark, abstract myspace page shows Castaway also have an artistic element at work.
WITH ONE LAST BREATH
Super tight metallers With One Last Breath blend a hard edge with excellent melodies. Tracks such as ‘Bring the Pain’ display their enormous musical talents and huge sound. With vocals ranging from spine tingling screams to melody driven choruses, With One last Breath have truly great song writing ability. A myspace page with excellent imagery complements their music perfectly and really completes the package.
OIL ON CANVAS
Deliciously catchy pop from Oil on Canvas. ‘Walk Away’ combines a haunting chorus with a beautifully crafted guitar line to create a classic pop track, while ‘Game On’ shows their rockier side well. ‘House of Cards’ is driven to wonderful effect by great layered guitar and trumpet melodies. Raucous rock and roll with more than a hint of blues. The Stone Saloon have a classic sound that they perform brilliantly. ‘Tell me in the Morning’ superbly showcases their seemingly effortless rock vocals and fantastic guitar lines. ‘Weekend Woman’ takes the tempo down a notch or two without loosing any of the style and, along with ‘Strawberry Shine’, shows off some great harmony vocals.
