I had just gotten out of a long relationship when the song was recorded and I wanted to send across the message that "Hey, so it's over....so, what!  That's the way it goes sometimes" in a light hearted, positive way. I think we did it.

What’s the response to this single been like so far?

The response has been great. I think it's a song that everyone can relate to, regardless of your situation.  Everyone has been in love, and everyone has been let down.  It's the ability to recognize the positives of the experience that allow people to move on.  Just recently, the song made it to #1 on several unsigned radio charts here in NYC, very exciting!

What’s your dream collaboration?

That is a very, very tough question.  I'll answer this in two parts, the first with someone who is no longer with us, and the other with an artist who is still actively playing. 1) John Lennon.  The magnitude of his influence and his writing sense is something I can only dream of. 
2)  Ben Harper.  He is an all encompassing artist to me.  Vocally, lyrically, production-wise, skill level, and his ability to cross genres is amazing.  And a close second would be Justin Timberlake....he's just the man!

Do you have any plans to tour more widely than the US?

No plans as of this second, but the desire are definitely there.  I will go anywhere in the world where there are people who want to hear me play!  Any takers?

What is you ambition?

My ambition is pretty simple:  To continue to grow as artist and build a fan base. One of my favorite lines I've ever written is "A little patience makes things easier to find".  I am more motivated now than ever to succeed, I just have to remain focused on expanding as a player, performer, and person.  It might take a while, but I'm a very patient guy!!!
